Will Kelly is a practicing restorative dentist, bacon eater, bourbon sipper, and avid outdoorsman that lives in North Carolina with his wife and four sons.
Growing up in the Piedmont of North Carolina (perfectly between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Coastal Low Country), Will has passion for Southern culture, being outdoors, and travel. He regards his father as his hero and aspires that his children will have that same enduring memories of him. Inspired by a bumper sticker: ‘Take your Boy Hunting, Instead of Hunting Your Boy’, Will spends a great deal of time hunting and fishing, taking his little fellows along when he can.
When not “Tooth-Smithin'” he enjoys cooking Good Eats and sharing them with friends, picking his guitar, tying flies and catching trout with them, admiring fine shotguns, photography, and hearing great stories.
Will studied at the NC State School of Design before crossing over to Chapel Hill to for his DDS degree.
In 2013, Will penned his a self published novel titled: Providence. The story is a large sprawling amalgamation of tales set in the Piedmont. It will likely never be published. (The unedited version, readable if you don’t mind an errant coma or two, is available at Lulu.com/spotlight/WilliamKelly)
Will has contributed to several outdoor publications and commercial blogs.
In his profession, he owns, William Kelly Dentistry, a small private practice that focuses on Esthetic Restorative Dental Care with an Individualized Comprehensive approach. Learn more: WilliamKellyDentistry.com
